confession, particularly in its central role in Nelson Rodrigues’ dramatic
works. The concept of confession is updated with references to internet blogs,
YouTube and similar forms: media overkill turns into the addiction to confess.

GRUPO OITO, BERLIN
Bodies in Pieces
The Grupo Oito, under the direction of the Brazilian choreographer Ricardo
de Paula, researches the understanding of the human body in our modern society.
Insecurity towards our own bodies leads to prototypes, uniformity and thus
an alienation from an intuitive body sensitivity. The performers move along
the fragile line between the interior with its abyss and the exterior with
its dictates.
